The Lansing Mayoral Primary on August 5, 2025, is a nonpartisan election to select the Democratic and Republican nominees for mayor of Lansing, Michigan. The winner of each party's primary will advance to the general election in November 2025 to compete for the office of Mayor of Lansing.
Voters in Lansing must register by July 21, 2025, online, by mail, or in person at their local clerk's office. On Election Day, August 5, 2025, voters can cast ballots at their assigned polling place between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM EST, or vote early in person from July 26 to August 3, 2025, at designated early voting sites. Photo ID is required but voters without ID may sign an affidavit and vote a regular ballot.
