How to Vote

Michigan residents can register to vote online, by mail, or in person at their local clerk's office. Voters must present a valid photo ID at the polls; those without ID can sign an affidavit and vote a provisional ballot. Early voting is available statewide beginning July 25, 2026, and registered voters may also request an absentee ballot without providing a reason.
