To vote in Massachusetts, residents must be registered by August 16, 2026. Voters can cast ballots in person on Election Day, during the early voting period from August 27 to September 10, 2026, or by requesting a mail-in ballot. Identification is not required for most voters, but first-time voters who registered by mail may need to show ID.
