To vote in Massachusetts, residents must register by October 24, 2026, either online, by mail, or in person at their local election office. Eligible voters can cast ballots in person on Election Day, during the early voting period from October 17 to October 30, 2026, or by requesting a mail-in ballot, which must be received by the close of polls on Election Day. Voters are not required to show ID unless they are first-time voters who registered by mail and did not provide verification at registration.
