The Baltimore City Board of School Commissioners District 7 Democratic Primary is a local election to select the Democratic nominee for one of the nine seats on the Baltimore City Board of School Commissioners. The Board oversees the Baltimore City Public Schools system, setting policy, approving budgets, and appointing the CEO. The winner of this primary will face no Republican opposition in the general election, as the seat is safely Democratic.

How to Vote

Maryland voters can register online through the Maryland State Board of Elections website, by mail, or in person at their local board of elections office. Registration must be completed by May 31, 2026, to vote in the June 23 primary. Early voting runs from June 11 to June 21, 2026, at designated centers across Baltimore City, and Election Day voting is held at assigned precincts from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Voters do not need to show ID unless they are first-time voters who registered by mail and did not provide identification at registration.
