How to Vote

Maryland voters can register online through the Maryland State Board of Elections website, by mail, or in person at local election offices. To vote, registered residents may cast ballots during early voting from October 26 to November 2, 2026, or on Election Day, November 3, 2026, at their assigned polling place. Voters must present a valid ID if voting for the first time in Maryland or if requested by an election judge; acceptable IDs include a Maryland driver’s license, state ID, passport, or military ID.
