How to Vote

Maryland voters can register online, by mail, or in person through the Maryland State Board of Elections. Registration must be completed by October 13, 2026. Voters may cast ballots in person during early voting from October 25 to November 2, 2026, or on Election Day at their assigned polling place. Photo ID is required for first-time voters who registered by mail and did not provide ID with their application; otherwise, ID is not required for most voters. Absentee ballots can be requested online and must be returned by mail or dropped off at designated locations by 8:00 PM on Election Day.
