How to Vote

To vote in Alabama, residents must register by October 18, 2026, either online via the Alabama Secretary of State's website, by mail, or in person at a county board of registrars office. On Election Day, November 3, 2026, voters must present a valid photo ID at their assigned polling place; early voting is available from October 26 to November 2 at designated locations, and absentee ballots must be requested by October 29 and received by close of polls on Election Day.
