How to Vote

To vote in the Baltimore City Council District 12 Democratic Primary, residents must be registered to vote in Maryland by the August 22, 2027 deadline. Voters can cast their ballot in person on Election Day at their assigned polling place, during the early voting period from September 2 to September 10, 2027, or by requesting and submitting a mail-in ballot. Maryland requires voters to show identification if they are first-time voters who registered by mail and did not provide ID verification; acceptable IDs include a Maryland driver’s license, state ID, or any government-issued photo ID.
