How to Vote

To vote in Maryland, residents must register by October 6, 2027, either online through the Maryland State Board of Elections website, by mail, or in person at designated locations. On Election Day, voters can cast ballots at their assigned polling place from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM; early voting is available from October 23 to October 31, 2027, at designated centers. Voters must present a valid ID if they are first-time voters who registered by mail and did not provide ID during registration, though most voters are not required to show ID at the polls.
