How to Vote

To vote in Maryland, residents must be registered by August 23, 2027. Voters can cast ballots in person on Election Day at their assigned polling place, during the early voting period from August 31 to September 8, 2027, or by requesting an absentee ballot. All voters must present a valid ID if voting for the first time in Maryland or if their registration is incomplete; acceptable IDs include a Maryland driver’s license, state ID, passport, or military ID.
