How to Vote

Voters in Maryland must be registered to vote by August 24, 2027, to participate in the primary. Registered voters can cast their ballots in person on Election Day at their assigned polling place, during the early voting period from August 31 to September 10, 2027, or by requesting an absentee ballot through the Maryland State Board of Elections website. Voters are not required to present identification at the polls unless they are first-time voters who registered by mail and did not provide ID during registration.
