How to Vote

Maryland residents can register to vote online through the Maryland State Board of Elections website, by mail, or in person at designated locations. Voters may cast ballots in person on Election Day, during the early voting period from October 27 to November 2, 2026, or by requesting an absentee ballot, which must be returned by mail or dropped off at a secure ballot drop box by 8:00 PM on Election Day. Acceptable forms of ID include a Maryland driver’s license, state ID, or other government-issued photo identification.
