How to Vote

To vote in Maryland, registered voters must present a valid ID if voting in person for the first time or if their registration is incomplete; acceptable IDs include a driver’s license, state ID, passport, or utility bill with name and address. Early voting is available from October 28 to November 3, 2026, at designated centers across Baltimore County, and voters may also request an absentee ballot by mail through the Maryland State Board of Elections website, with ballots due by 8:00 PM on Election Day.
