How to Vote

Maryland residents can register to vote online through the Maryland State Board of Elections website, by mail, or in person at designated locations. Voters must provide a Maryland driver’s license or state ID number, or the last four digits of their Social Security number. Early voting is available from October 24 to October 31, 2026, and election day voting occurs at assigned polling places from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Voters should bring a valid ID if voting for the first time in Maryland or if their registration is incomplete.
