How to Vote

Maryland residents can register to vote online through the Maryland State Board of Elections website, by mail, or in person at local election offices. Voters must provide a Maryland driver's license or state ID number, or the last four digits of their Social Security number. On Election Day, polls are open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and voters must bring an approved form of ID if they are first-time voters who registered by mail and did not provide identification during registration.
