How to Vote

Maryland residents can register to vote online through the Maryland State Board of Elections website, by mail, or in person at designated locations. Voters must present a valid ID if registering in person or voting early; on Election Day, voters may vote at their assigned polling place with or without ID if they can sign an affidavit of identity. Early voting is available from October 26 to November 3, 2026, and mail-in ballots can be requested until October 29, 2026.
