How to Vote

Maryland residents can register to vote online through the Maryland State Board of Elections website, by mail using a voter registration application, or in person at local election offices or Motor Vehicle Administration locations. Voters must present a valid form of identification, such as a Maryland driver's license, state ID, or the last four digits of their Social Security number, when registering or voting in person. Early voting is available from October 25 to November 2, 2026, and registered voters can cast their ballots at designated early voting centers across the state.
