The district includes parts of Montgomery, Frederick, and Washington counties in western Maryland. Voters will elect one member to serve a two-year term beginning January 3, 2027.

How to Vote

Maryland voters can register online through the Maryland State Board of Elections website, by mail, or in person at local election offices or Motor Vehicle Administration offices. On Election Day, voters must go to their assigned polling place; early voting is available at designated centers from October 24 to November 2, 2026. Voters must present a valid ID if they are first-time voters who registered by mail and did not provide ID during registration, otherwise no ID is required for most voters.
