The 2026 U.S. House District 1 General Election in Maryland will determine the representative for Maryland's 1st congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives. The district covers the Eastern Shore and parts of Anne Arundel and Baltimore counties. Voters will choose between the Democratic and Republican nominees to serve a two-year term beginning January 3, 2027.

How to Vote

Maryland residents can register to vote online through the Maryland State Board of Elections website, by mail, or in person at local boards of elections, motor vehicle offices, or designated agencies. Voters must provide a Maryland driver’s license or state ID number, or the last four digits of their Social Security number. On Election Day, polls are open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM; early voting is available at designated centers from October 25 to November 1, 2026, and voters may request a mail-in ballot through October 28, 2026.
