How to Vote

To vote in the Bangor City Council Elections, Maine residents must be registered to vote by October 18, 2027. Voters can cast ballots in person on Election Day, during the early voting period from October 28 to November 1, 2027, or by requesting an absentee ballot. Maine does not require photo ID to vote; voters may be asked to verify identity with a utility bill, bank statement, or other document showing name and address if voting for the first time in a jurisdiction.
