How to Vote

To vote in the Portland mayoral election, Maine residents must be registered by October 18, 2027. Voters can cast ballots in person on Election Day, during the early voting period from October 21 to November 1, 2027, or by requesting an absentee ballot through the Maine Division of Elections. Acceptable photo ID is required for first-time voters or if registering at the polls.
