How to Vote

Louisiana residents can register to vote online via the Louisiana Secretary of State's GeauxVote website, by mail, or in person at a registrar of voters office. Voters must present a valid photo ID at the polls, such as a Louisiana driver's license, Louisiana special ID, or U.S. passport; those without ID may sign an affidavit and cast a provisional ballot. Early voting is available at designated locations from October 3 to October 11, 2026, and Election Day is October 15, 2026.
