How to Vote

To vote in Louisiana, residents must be registered by October 4, 2026, either online via the Louisiana Secretary of State’s GeauxVote website, by mail, or in person at a registrar of voters office. On Election Day, October 15, 2026, voters can cast their ballot at their assigned polling place between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM CST, presenting a valid photo ID such as a Louisiana driver’s license, state ID, or U.S. passport.
