How to Vote

Louisiana residents can register to vote online via the Louisiana Secretary of State's GeauxVote website, by mail, or in person at their parish registrar of voters office. On Election Day, voters must present a valid photo ID such as a Louisiana driver's license, Louisiana special ID card, U.S. military ID, or passport; otherwise, they may sign an affidavit and provide additional identification. Early voting is available from October 25 to November 1, 2026, at designated parish registrars' offices and early voting locations.
