This district covers parts of East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Iberville, and Pointe Coupee parishes, and the winner will advance to the general election unless a candidate receives over 50% of the vote in the primary, which would avoid a runoff under Louisiana's jungle primary system.

How to Vote

To vote in Louisiana, residents must register by October 14, 2026, either online via the Louisiana Secretary of State's GeauxVote portal, by mail, or in person at a registrar of voters office. On Election Day or during early voting (October 25–31, 2026), voters must present a valid photo ID such as a Louisiana driver's license, U.S. passport, or military ID; those without ID may sign an affidavit and cast a provisional ballot.
