How to Vote

Illinois voters can register online, by mail, or in person at their local election office. Registration must be completed by May 20, 2026. Voters may cast ballots in person on Election Day, June 16, 2026, during early voting from June 3 to June 15, 2026, or by mail-in ballot if requested by June 10, 2026. A valid photo ID is required for first-time voters who registered by mail and have not previously voted in Illinois.
