The winner of each party's primary will advance to the general election in November 2026 to represent the district, which includes parts of Chicago's western and northwestern suburbs.

How to Vote

To vote in the Illinois primary, you must be a registered voter and either declare a party affiliation at the polls (for primary voting) or be already registered with a party. Early voting begins June 8 and runs through June 15, with Election Day voting on June 16 at your assigned polling place; bring a valid ID if registering for the first time or if required by election judges.
