How to Vote

To vote in Illinois, residents must register by October 7, 2026, online, by mail, or in person. Voters can cast ballots early in person from October 24 through Election Day, or request a mail-in ballot by November 1. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day, and voters must present a valid ID if registering on-site or if it's their first time voting by mail.
