The U.S. House Illinois District 2 Primary is a federal primary election to select the Democratic and Republican nominees for the U.S. House of Representatives from Illinois's 2nd congressional district. The district includes parts of Chicago's south suburbs and portions of southern Cook County, and the winner of the general election will serve in the 119th U.S. Congress.

How to Vote

To vote in Illinois, residents must register by the deadline either online, by mail, or in person at designated locations. Voters can cast their ballot in person on Election Day, during the early voting period, or by requesting and returning a vote-by-mail ballot. All registered voters are eligible to vote-by-mail without needing an excuse, and valid photo ID is required for in-person voting unless the voter has previously voted in Illinois.
