How to Vote

To vote in Illinois, residents must register by October 7, 2026, either online, by mail, or in person. On Election Day, voters can cast their ballots at their designated polling place from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM CT; early voting is available from October 24 to November 2 at designated sites, and vote-by-mail ballots must be requested by November 1 and postmarked by Election Day.
