How to Vote

Alaska voters can register online, by mail, or in person through the Division of Elections. Registration must be completed by September 5, 2026, for the October 6 election. On Election Day, voters must present a valid ID such as a driver's license, state ID, passport, or tribal ID at their assigned polling place. Early voting is available in person from September 12 to October 5, 2026, at designated locations including the Homer City Clerk's Office and the Kenai Peninsula Borough Elections Office. Absentee ballots can be requested online or by mail and must be received by Election Day to be counted.
