How to Vote

To vote in Hawaii, registered voters may cast ballots by mail, during early voting, or at their designated polling place on Election Day. Mail-in ballots are automatically sent to all active registered voters; completed ballots must be received by the County Elections Division by 7:00 PM HST on August 13, 2026. Voters can register online through the Hawaii Office of Elections website, and must provide a valid Hawaii driver’s license or state ID for verification. No photo ID is required to vote in person, but voters must confirm their identity and address at the polling site.
