To vote in Hawaii, residents must be U.S. citizens, Hawaii residents, and at least 18 years old by Election Day. Voters can register online through the Hawaii Office of Elections website, by mail, or in person at designated voter service centers. Voters may cast ballots via mail-in absentee ballot, early in-person voting at designated centers from August 1 to August 12, 2026, or in person at their assigned polling place on Election Day, August 13, 2026. Hawaii does not require voters to present ID at the polls unless they are first-time voters who registered by mail and did not provide identification during registration.
