Voters in Hawaii must register by July 18, 2026, to participate in the August 13 election. Registered voters can vote early in person from July 28 to August 11, 2026, or request an absentee ballot by mail. All active registered voters will receive a mail-in ballot automatically; completed ballots must be received by the County Clerk’s Office by 7:00 PM HST on Election Day. Voters may also vote in person at designated voter service centers on Election Day. No photo ID is required to vote, but voters must provide identification if registering for the first time by mail.
