How to Vote

To vote in Hawaii, residents must be U.S. citizens, Hawaii residents, and at least 18 years old by Election Day. Registration can be completed online via the Hawaii Office of Elections website, by mail, or in person at a county clerk's office. Voters may cast ballots by mail (absentee), during early voting at designated centers, or in person at their assigned polling place on Election Day; a valid photo ID is required for first-time voters who registered by mail without providing ID.
