How to Vote

To vote in Hawaii, residents must be U.S. citizens, Hawaii residents, and at least 18 years old by Election Day. Registration can be completed online via the Hawaii Office of Elections website, by mail, or in person at county voter service centers. Voters may cast ballots by mail (absentee), during early voting periods, or in person at polling places on Election Day; no ID is required to vote if already registered, but first-time voters who registered by mail may need to show identification.
