How to Vote

To vote in Hawaii, residents must be U.S. citizens, Hawaii residents, and at least 18 years old by Election Day. Voters can register online through the state’s Online Voter Registration System, by mail, or in person at a voter service center. Registered voters will receive a ballot by mail and can return it via mail, drop it off at a designated place of deposit, or vote in person at a voter service center during the early voting period or on Election Day. A valid photo ID is required when voting in person or registering at a voter service center.
