How to Vote

To vote in Hawaii, residents must register online, by mail, or in person at their county elections division. Registration can be completed at elections.hawaii.gov. Voters may cast ballots by mail (absentee), during early voting at designated voter service centers, or in person on Election Day at their assigned polling place. A valid photo ID is required for first-time voters who registered by mail; otherwise, no ID is needed for most voters.
