How to Vote

To vote in Hawaii's 2026 primary, residents must be registered by July 11, 2026, either online through the Hawaii Office of Elections website, by mail, or in person at a voter service center. Registered voters can vote by mail (ballots mailed starting July 26), drop off completed ballots at designated locations, or vote in person at voter service centers during early voting or on Election Day, August 8, 2026. A valid photo ID is required for first-time voters who registered by mail and did not provide ID verification; otherwise, no ID is needed to vote.
