The 2026 Florida United States Senate primary election will be held on August 25, 2026, to select the Democratic and Republican nominees for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Senator Marco Rubio. The winner of each party's primary will advance to the general election in November 2026 to compete for the federal office representing Florida in the United States Senate.

How to Vote

Florida residents can register to vote online through the Florida Division of Elections website, by mail, or in person at their county supervisor of elections office. Voters must present a valid photo and signature ID at the polls; acceptable IDs include a Florida driver's license, state ID card, U.S. passport, or military ID. Early voting is available statewide from August 8 to August 24, 2026, and vote-by-mail ballots must be requested by August 20 and returned by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.
