How to Vote

To vote in the 2028 Bridgeport Mayoral Election, registered voters in Connecticut must be U.S. citizens, residents of Bridgeport, and at least 18 years old by Election Day. Voters can cast ballots in person on Election Day at their assigned polling place, during the early voting period from October 21 to November 5, 2028, or by absentee ballot if eligible. Registration must be completed by October 21, 2028, either online, by mail, or in person at a local election office, with no ID required for registration but ID may be requested when voting in person for first-time voters who registered by mail.
