How to Vote

To vote in Connecticut, residents must be U.S. citizens, state residents, and at least 18 years old by Election Day. Voters can register online through the Connecticut Secretary of State’s website, by mail, or in person at local town halls or DMV offices. Early voting is available from October 21 to November 3, 2028, and absentee ballots are available for eligible voters who cannot vote in person. Voters must present identification at the polls, such as a driver’s license, state ID, or utility bill with name and address.
