All 100 House seats and 18 of the 35 Senate seats are up for election, determining control of the state legislature and influencing policy on education, healthcare, and taxation.

To vote in Arkansas, residents must register by October 11, 2026, either online through the Arkansas Secretary of State’s website, by mail, or in person at a county clerk’s office. On Election Day or during early voting (October 19–November 1, 2026), voters must present a valid photo ID such as a driver’s license, passport, or military ID; free voter ID cards are available from county clerks for those without acceptable identification.
