To vote in Alabama, eligible citizens must register by October 19, 2026, either online through the Alabama Secretary of State’s website, by mail, or in person at a county board of registrars office. On Election Day or during early voting (October 22–November 1), voters must present a valid photo ID, such as a driver’s license, passport, or Alabama voter ID card, at their designated polling place.
