How to Vote

To vote in Texas, eligible residents must register by October 7, 2028, either online through the Texas Secretary of State’s website, by mail, or in person at their county voter registrar’s office. On Election Day or during early voting (October 21–November 4, 2028), voters must present one of seven acceptable forms of photo ID, such as a Texas driver’s license, U.S. passport, or election identification certificate; those without ID may vote provisionally and submit ID within six days.
