How to Vote

To vote in Texas, eligible residents must register by October 5, 2026, either online through the Texas Secretary of State's website, by mail, or in person at their county voter registrar's office. On election day or during early voting (October 19–31, 2026), voters must present one of seven approved forms of photo ID, such as a Texas driver license, U.S. passport, or military ID. Those without ID can complete a Reasonable Impediment Declaration and provide supporting documentation.
