How to Vote

To vote in West Virginia, residents must be U.S. citizens, at least 18 years old by Election Day, and registered to vote. Registration can be completed online via the West Virginia Secretary of State's website, by mail, or in person at the county clerk's office. Voters must present a valid ID at the polling place, such as a driver's license, state ID, passport, or military ID, and polling locations are open from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM on Election Day.
