To vote in West Virginia's primary election, residents must be registered to vote by April 22, 2026. Voters can cast their ballot in person on Election Day at their designated polling place, during the early voting period from April 28 to May 10, 2026, or by requesting an absentee ballot. West Virginia requires voters to present a valid ID when voting in person, such as a driver's license, state ID, passport, or military ID.
