How to Vote

Washington residents can register to vote online, by mail, or in person through the Washington Secretary of State’s office. Online registration requires a Washington driver’s license or state ID and must be completed by October 8, 2028. Voters may cast ballots via mail (all registered voters receive a mail-in ballot), at official drop boxes, or in person at voting centers during the early voting period or on Election Day. No photo ID is required to vote in person; signature verification is used for mail ballots.
